We have selected the 'Conservaglass' product now available in a range of colours including Blue, Clear, Aqua and Brown.

To enable the Skylight to be thermally efficient, a glazing material must be selected that deflects heat from the sun in the Summer and retains the warmth from heating appliances in the Winter. Obviously it is also crucial that the glass allows the maximum amount of light into your home.

  • All roof units are toughened safety 4mm glass - 16 mm Argon gas filled cavity - 4 mm glass with warm edge spacer as standard - better winter comfort.
  • Roof units are guaranteed for 10 years.
  • Conservaglass is true 'Self Cleaning' with solar control properties.

We have selected a glass type which we believe to be the best available for this product. Our Conservaglass product keeps heat in during winter yet keeps harm UV rays out during summer.

Definitions

Light Transmission - Percentage of light transmitted through the unit.

Solar Rejection - The proportion of the sun’s energy that is rejected. The higher the percentage the better it is.

U Value w/m2 - A measure of how good the material is at preventing heat loss to the outside. The lower the figure, the more thermally efficient it is.

UV Protection - The higher the percentage, the lower the possibility of furniture and fabrics fading.
